IV. For the classes for the week of March 5th to the 9th:
Please download the following questions. Use the "Methodology for the Written Document" to help you answer the questions on the document "Love Yesterday and Today".

If you email me your answers before class, I can correct them and it will be possible to look at them in class using a video projector.

Here is the resource I gave out in class to help with structuring your written expression.

V. For the classes for the week of March 12th to the16th:
1) Please watch the video "The Man with the 30 Second Memory" again and finish answering the questions you can download here

2) Read the document "The Abyss", which gives more detail about the man in the video. Then do the exercise on vocabulary.

VI. For the classes for the week of March 19th to the 23rd:

1) Read the attached document (it was handed out in class, but in black and white, here it is in color, which is important for the diagrams). There are also questions on vocabulary and understanding at the end. I was not able to give these out in class because they were not printed.


VII. For the classes for the week of March 26th to the 30th:
Read the attached document and answer the questions on the document. We will especially work on the vocabulary.


VIII. For the classes for the week of April 2nd to April 5th:
1) Listen to the following audio file and answer these questions:
a. Who is the speaker? What is his profession?
b. What types of therapy does he talk about?
c. For what groups of people are different therapies the most effective?
d. What does he mean by the "Cold Turkey" method?
e. Does he recommend it?


IX. For the classes for the week of April 9th to the 12th:
Read the following text and be ready to discuss the research the author sites as well as his conclusions concerning therapies for addictions.
